A Houston native and graduate of the University of Houston and Texas Southern University, Michael holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on community interventions, client-centeredness, and empirically supported practices.

His academic formation spans empirically supported assessment practices and the broader traditions of depth psychology.
